In Luoping, China, every Spring, an ocean of yellow flowers emerge from the Earth. It creates a beautiful sea of flowers that extends all the way to the horizon. These are Canola flowers and are used in the production of Canola Oil.

Maho Beach at St. Maarten is Media known for being one of the noisiest beaches as well as one of the scariest runways. It’s famous for photos of planes flying just overhead of this busy beach, making it look like it’s about to make a crash landing. Actually, it’s a popular tourist spot people visit just to see the planes zip by before landing.

Chongdongjin (Jeongdongjin, Jeong dong jean) is a famous town in South Korea, perhaps best known for this image of a ship that seems to have beached itself on a cliff 45 meters or 148 feet from the ground. It is actually a resort and hotel that was built to look exactly like a cruise ship to attract people to the city.

Is this a photo, playing some visual tricks with perspective? No, it’s actually a giant fork that has been placed into Lake Geneva in Switzerland. It is a sculpture designed by Jeane-Pierre Zaugg. This accounts to be one of the most heavenly beautiful places in the world.

5. Setenil de las Bodegas

Setenil de las Bodegas is the town that is underneath a rock. It is a small Spanish town that is being covered by a large cliff, but from below it looks like a giant rock has fallen on top of a town, covering the sky.

The world’s highest tennis court is on top of one of the highest hotels in the world, the Burj al-Arab in Dubai. The tennis court is circular and actually serves as a helipad when it isn’t being used as a helipad. Estimates put this tennis court at around 1,000 feet in the air. This photo of a school inside of a dark cave might be confusing, but it is literally a school in a cave. This is the Dongzhong Elementary School, which was made in the 1980s after government funding left many people in the southern part of Guizhou without infrastructure or education. It was carved into a cave and staffed by around 8 teachers.
