1. Duarsini

Durasini Located in the Purulia district of Bengal, Durasini has a natural beauty scattered everywhere. In this small village, there are greenery, shawl wood, shimul, pyal, and Palash forests. Very few people know about them.

In these forests, the people of Munda, Shahedarh, Santhal, and Kheria tribe live here, having their own unique culture. In these forests, a large number of wildlife species such as bears, elephants, etc. can be seen.

3. Samsing

4. Taki

Located in Hansabad, the Taki city is located 80 km away from Kolkata. This city is situated on the banks of the Ichamati river and its natural beauty, culture and the smell of Bengal will enchant your mind.

5. Jayrambati

Jayrambati is the perfect place for religious and historical holidays. The birthplace of Sharda Devi, wife of Jayrambati Ramkrishna Paramhans, a small village situated in Banankur district of West Bengal, Bengal. Sharda Devi can also visit the temple here. In this temple, the statue of a mother of Maratha is established.

Naranarayana Temple is also in this village where children of five years of age are worshiped. Here, the devotees offer goods of clothes, toys, books and other stationery. 6. Chandraketugarh

Chandraketugarh got its name from Raja Chandraketu, whose dominated here for six eras. The fort was built by King Chandraketu and it is acclaimed to be the beautiful archaeological structure of the region.

The mythological ancient temple made in honor of Khana and Mihir consists of only a flight of stairs and the walls as the remains of the building.

The collapsed four-foot thick walls reveal the magnificence of the temple. Things which have been found in the digging of this temple and are the prime attractions of this place are Buddha stupas and paintings, decorative designs related to Pala regime, Jataka tales coins, terracotta sealing, and plaques, and many others.

Nearby is another interesting structure which is the mythical incomplete Mosque built by Pir Gorchand. It is one of the least known tourist destinations in West Bengal. Since no accommodation is available, therefore, Chandkhedugarh is suitable for a day trip from Kolkata. It is located approximately 50 kilometers from Kolkata and can be reached by road through Barasat. It takes about 2 hours to travel. There are regular buses available for Barachampa from Ultadanga and Esplanade.

7. Garh Panchkot

A demolished fort, positioned in the eastern part of India on less than an hour’s drive from Asansol, having its presence at the foothills of Panchkot in Purulia district of West Bengal.

In the past, the place had been attacked by bargis. An abundance in herbs and medicinal value plants species includes Amloki, Gurmar, Bahera, Neem, Kalmegh, Satamul, Sarpagandha, Jastimadhu, etc.
